HTML Entity Encoder / Decoder

Escape HTML-sensitive characters into safe entities or decode named and numeric HTML entities as plain text.

Ready. Paste HTML or entity-encoded text. Output is always rendered as inert text.

About HTML Entity Encoding

Escaping the five HTML-sensitive characters (& → &, < → <, > → >, " → ", and ' → ') prevents browsers from interpreting raw strings as executable tags or attribute delimiters. Decoding parses named entities as well as decimal (©) and hexadecimal (🚀) numeric character references purely in memory without DOM parsing.
